IFormatInfo.DefaultExtension Property

Returns default extension for this format.

ReadOnly Property DefaultExtension As String

                string DefaultExtension { get; }

Default extension for this format.

Default extension is used by file dialogs. If you type file name without extension, file dialog will automatically append this extension to it.

This extension is returned in file mask form, i.e. includes asterisk: *.[extension].
